Yes, petty complaint. But it speaks to the quality of a game when something as basic as rebinding certain keys is quite literally impossible. Not all keys, mind. There are some that are, for some godforsaken reason, are blocked off. For example, if you happen to be one of those odd folks who use 'esdf' for your movement, then you will find that when driving you cannot rebind 'a' to 's'. Why? I have no idea. There are about a dozen keys that have similar restrictions, and it actually makes no sense whatsoever.
So, I’ve been playing Cyberpunk 2077 again recently, and yeah, the story is still amazing. Night City is such a cool place to explore, and the main missions are super engaging. The characters and the whole vibe of the game really pull you in. When things work, it’s an awesome experience.
But even after four years, the game still has some frustrating issues. Quests sometimes just don’t show up or break halfway through, which is super annoying. And driving it still feels awful. V’s cars spawn like they’ve got a mind of their own—sometimes they pop up on top of other cars or weird spots. The physics are all over the place too; barely tapping an NPC car can kill everyone inside, and suddenly, you’ve got the cops on you.
Speaking of NPCs, the AI is still pretty dumb. Passers-by will randomly leap in front of your car, and they don’t react in any realistic way to what’s going on around them. It makes the city feel kind of fake, which sucks because visually, it’s such a masterpiece.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still having fun with it. But man, these issues are hard to ignore, especially for a game that’s been out for this long. It’s a mix of "wow, this is amazing" and "why is this still happening?" all the time.
I know the game had a rough start, I played on day 1 myself but if you plan to play the game today it's definitely a better version of what it was, soo much better, the game is very worth it imo, if you played it before, now it's a good time to start again or continue the game but if you plan on buying it for the first time just go for it, great experience
After so many years after release, devs didnt fix savegame file size limit. After crossing 12MB you can say adios to yours 250 hours of gameplay. And everybody think, that Bethesda game engine is a thrash. Go and make some games on 8bit systems, than return to developing on x64 systems. What is the problem with extending some stupid limits, or even create save editor and let players fix their own mess... All good things of this game are nullified by devs ignorance. Shame.
EDIT
Thanks to modding community, some good soul made a mod, that allowed to transfer your character into newgameplus, which solves problem with overfilling savefile. But devs just still dont care.
