So, many bugs!, game is not ready for sale!, is not finished yet, It may be a great game, but it still needs a lot work, sad CD Project RED!, Very sad, management office should be changed!!...
1.- BUGS, you can read and watch videos about them evrywhere, I won't repeat what others have said.
2.- This is not a RPG is a bad copy of a GTA game and even a GTA game that is from another genre have more roleplay than CP2077
3.- The main story is linear, there are some bifurcations but they don't mean a lot in the end. (and during the journey itself). Take for example Fallout 4, it is a linear game too, but your choices matter a bit more.
4.- The world is big and small at the same time. I mean yeah the city is big, but there is nothing to do beside some random missions. The npc are void puppets, There are no mini events/games. And there are no persistent consecuences on what you do to the wolrd. Once you have see how a couple of streets are you have seem them all. (There is a rummor about a pet, but i have failed to find it)
5.- You cannot roleplay on your own. and that is because of point 4, but also because of the issue involving that at some point you face a BIG problem and lollygagging around feels so out of place, that you feel forced to go to the final of the game.
6.- There are few lovable /dislikable characters, and the interactions with them feel shallow, fixers call you from nowhere to give jobs without knowing you, romace is about doing some missions and done, etc.
7.- Keanu Revees deserved a better game, I mean he is one of the few things good about the game.
So many many things in this game cause for my review of this. I have over 426 games on GOG and 1800+ games on Steam so I wanted to share my opinions on this game. First of all, the attempt to make a game is awesome and appearance on the outside is beautiful. I'm running it on 1080 with an RTX 2070 OC on Ultra 60 fps with RTX and DLSS enabled and never a blip on quality or issues.
The story quests are very rails based, no options to adjust or go off the beaten path and the background does nothing to change the results of your story other than dialog options open to you based on background.
The progression tree is a bit clunky on what it does other than % increase in stats. How is it when I headshot a character they soak it like a sponge? (Higher levels should not mean more HP, CDPR haven't you ever played a good campaign of D&D it covers all these details.)
My real real gripe: Is that as an Open World RPG styled to be the GTAV killer or more importantly a better Saint's Row the IVth game, I cannot customize anytime I want in the game. Both those games did it much better, and I bet CDPR would only need to add a set of locations within the world already that would be a body mod shop. There is a limited set of customizations you can change your character with, WHY CAN'T we change it whenever we feel like it? It is the ESSENCE of Cyberpunk.
It's 2020, played this, played that and Cyberpunk 2077 is no different and has no notable game and genre changing mechanics.
Good: A fresh cyberpunk world, interesting story and characters.
Very Bad: AI, quest bugs, physics, graphical corruption, and overpriced for its quality.
Just like ubi sandbox game.Main quests is ok some are good and side quests umm some are impressive but most of them are just wasting time. There huge text in game, but most of them are about gang, the whole world more like gta than cyberpunk word
