《赛博朋克 2077》

After playing 24 total hours in this game and giving it more than a fair shake, I've decided that I can't recommned this game to anyone. I don't think I have ever played a video game with such a glaring case of identity crisis than Cyberpunk 2077. This game puts in front of me a massive open world packed with buildings and people and yet I don't feel rewarded when I interact with any of it. The whole entire time I'm playing this game I'm plagued with the question "Who are you, and why do I care about you?" People you've never met before will call you on your phone, ask you for a favor, and then send you text messages about other random bullshit without ever even meeting face to face. I feel like I have no identity in my character, I feel like the choices I make don't really have any impact, and it seems like when I do try and make a choice it just ends up being made for me by the story. There are certain doors you can't get through or areas you can't get to in this game if you don't build into tech skill/body which further takes away from any meaningful choice. It almost seems like CDPR wrote the story first, conducted all the cutscenes, and then made a game to fill in the voids. The game ironically being the least interesting part of this video game. The only reason this gets two stars in my opinion is because of the story keeping a tight grip on my interest and a projection of "what could be" if some things in society go unchecked. The broken stealth mechanics, the boring gunplay, dirt-stupid AI, and glaringly optimal build paths (body) just make me wish they released this video game as a cut-scene movie and called it. No one even needs to mention the bugs and glitches that are laden throughout this game and consistently break immersion due to idle voice lines interrupting important main story dialogue. CDPR gave us this big, beautiful world and said you can look but not touch. Play the main story line, and do chores along the way. I'm bored and sad.

This hurts to write. This game sold itself on countless features not included within the release. All of which referred to within months of launch. The music, stories and design of Night City is impeccable, the team should be proud. The gameplay elements that this game sold itself upon of a next generation open world/RPG are non existent. The life paths sold at launch are 20 minute intros with no impact beyond dialogue options that have no impact. Beyond your first play thru which is absolutely riddled with game breaking bugs this game does not have the re-playability the devs spoke about. Words are hard to describe how disappointed I am by this title. Any faith I had in CRProjektRed is all but diminished and bug patches won’t cut it. They marketed the game we wanted and sold us a shadow of what was promised. Don’t buy it now, get it on sale in 6 months time when this will be playable unlike us that pre-ordered.

A real shame...broken AI, crap driving, crap shooting, looter shooter not RPG, tonnes of missing features, poor inro/intros, no NPC's riding motorbikes, no push bikes, no car customization, no pad customization, bullet spong enemys on hard and above, Old school gameplay mechanics that have all been done b4 and better, BUGS, more BUGS and then some more( my setup 2080ti+3900x), poor performance, perks are boring, city is boring and uninteractive and tonnes more but can'tbe arsed writing. Good graphics at a servere cost to performance, Sounds ok, Really gutted with this one, back to Dark souls and Deus Ex

CP2077 was never going to live up to unrealistic expectations of a futuristic life sim. But CDPR marketed it as a highly immersive open world RPG, and delivered something different. Instead, we got a story based linear shooter with all the tired old tropes of that genre. Press X to sit. Press X to hand object to NPC. Select from three samey dialogue choices. Now shoot 10 NPCs in the head and advance to the next cutscene, where your character will pretend to have human emotions despite being a homicidal maniac. Much has been said about the game's AI & physics. I think it is unfixable. Even if improved in future updates, it will still be at a level of sophistication that *might* have been state of the art in the 1990s. Mario Kart 64 had better AI! This is at the level of Microsoft Clippy. Either the game engine is incapable of supporting dynamic AI behavior, or CDPR's devs just don't have the skills required to code it. CDPR has promised to fix these problems. The only way to truly fix them is to import the raw assets into Unity or Unreal and start over from scratch. *** This wouldn't be so bad if there was a well crafted story and characters - as in the Witcher series. YMMV here, but I wasn't impressed. Plot summary: "hang out with Keanu Reeves and shoot people. Oh noes evil corp!". Cheap motivation is provided by the two Designated Player Girlfriends and some abused women to get protective over. Still better than, say, Bethesda's awful writing but CDPR has done better in the past. The overall tone isn't really that mature - the evil corp plot, family friendly lack of nudity & perversity (IMO) make it play like some direct-to-video YA movie. *** This review has been pretty harsh. What about the good things? The world design, lighting and sound are superb. 10/10 here. Also, I laughed at the "Milfguard" posters. I believe that CDPR will make a great game again, but this isn't it.

This game is a total turd in its current state. I mean, so many progression bugs that it's starting to drive me crazy. I'm not a "spring through the main mission" type of guy and explore every nook and cranny and have found TONS of bugs that cause me to have to restart from a previous save. I now have to quicksave every 30 seconds to make sure I dont lose 30+ minutes bc CDPR can't do their one job. Can't believe they delayed it so many times for this. Prob will be a good game in 6 months to a year but as it stands, it's hot garbage. Not happy.
