Feeling you are no longer alone, you turn, with just enough time to shoot, killing the mutation charging mercilessly toward you. You begin to sense an eerie feeling of fear in the air, but your skin crawls as you realize it's your own...What was that thing?Again and again you shoot, battling more strange beasts; all grotesque mutations of creatures you once knew. Suddenly the inexplicable becomes clear. Time channels have formed in the Earth's atmosphere, turning once normal life forms into something they were never meant to be. As part of a special commando unit, you must not only ward off and eradicate the beasts, but destroy the time channels to finally rid the Earth of these deadly mutations.

Better than quake
Gunplay is satisfying, the sound design is so good it makes weak weapons feel powerful, and the art style is a treat to look at.

Bretty Good for boom shoot
If you need a boom shoot fix this will do it, but there is a lot of cheap deaths since the enemies are too chunky to run around

Plays well for a game from the 90s
Gameplay feels exceptionally smooth for a game from the 90s. Had a google just to check if it was one of those that was styled, but nah, its old and smooth. Voice acting is dated though.

Weak Sauce
The enemy insta hit you everytime. They know exactly where you are at all times. No ability to dodge you just trade blows with weak weapons. The shotgun is particularly stiff and sad. The comparisons to Quake are so far off base it shocks me.
