Second play through now, and finding so many story paths that I didn't encounter on the first play through. Amazing story, beautiful graphics, so many possible ways to tackle the adventure. Highly recommend. Top tier game. New honor mode welcomes a new vibe, exciting - brings the XCOM vibe haha.
Only complaint that may be specific: A times unstable for me (crashes), may be due to my AMD graphics card perhaps? Been getting better overtime with the patches, was much worse in the beginning.
Feels quite different from Baldur's Gate 2, but still very enjoyable. I played through the game wishing there was more content in the early access.
Overall a cool turn-based RPG with a great setting and systems.
Idc what anyone says. This game is awesome! we finally are getting a good D&D video game, we haven't had one in years. The last one had a chance but it flopped hard, this one is where it's at. It's not finished mind you so anyone saying it's not attached to the other titles... well they're wrong and they either haven't played it or are judging the entire game off of a small portion of it (Read the pinned FAQ post about what BG3 is for one and it'll answer your question.) This is a new story but if you've played the other games you'll connect a lot of dots but you don't need to have played the first 2 games. This IS the D&D 5e game we've needed bad. Too antisocial to play with people? Don't have enough time to sit down at a table? Get this game. It's great, the character creator is nice, the gameplay is as smooth as it can get to making a pnp game into a video game, and the graphics are simply gorgeous! You could easily lose 30+ hours just in what we have now and that depends on how you play. If you're a real D&D 5e player you're going to find yourself losing a lot more time in this game. Great job Larian, I cant wait to watch this game grow.

Combat flows nice I think and interactions with companions are interesting.
Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is cause I cant get Sazza as a companion or camper lol
