This game really gets me. My sorcerer missed 3 spells in a row, then later in dialogue I had advantage on a Persuasian check and rolled snake eyes. Very accurate table top simulator according to my standard rolls. Only exception, Larian created better companians than my friends do, and despite having a great DM, Larian's world feels more alive.
I don't play turn based games, but decided to give this one a shot. It quickly turned into my favorite game of all time. I actually care about to characters, I actually want to explore the world, and the combat is fun. Nothing feels forced to pad out game time. It' just genuine fun.
What an experience. I can't find the words to describe how this game keeps me so engaged. The Larian team can be very proud of what they achieved here.
