Simply put a masterpiece of a RPG, an impeccable overall package featuring rich and highly interactive gameplay, dense and intricate world design with multilayered dungeons, tactical combat with some of the best encounter design i've ever seen, great writing with engaging dialogue that is reactive, rich and fun, memorable cast of companions and characters to meet and interact with, sublime music and soundtrack, amazing voice acting and performance, rewarding exploration and great rpg mechanics.
Its also highly replayable, one of the rare cases where a very long RPG manages to circle around common issues like recycling content and filling the world with filler. Amazing game!
This is as best as RPGs can get, a must play for any CRPG fan.
I wanted to play this game, I really did but the way camera and movement are coded is the worst. My challenge is that literally everything that is great in the game requires a lot of moving both the character and the camera and it's just not worth the burden to me.
Think about it this way, would you buy a Lamborghini equipped with the little chinlink steering wheel Cheech had in his lowrider in Up In Smoke? If the answer is yes, then you'll love this game...
