博德之门3

I never like Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 since I prefer turn based RPGs. The combat is improved over Divinity 2 and the story blows it out of the water. I am approaching 70 hours of game play soon. I usually get bored of a game before this amount of time but here I am looking forward for more! The graphics are top notch and the game runs stable. I had a few glitches but never a hard crash. For a game of this scope, it's practically bug free. The story line has so many branches that you can watch Twitch streamers experiencing the game with completely different companions and in turn different side quests. I also like that this is not a game made for children. No nude patch required 👍 This is a master piece. A must buy if you enjoy these games.

The best game in last 20 years! Larian gave us something one in a lifetime.

Look, this game is great. There's a lot to like about it. But, wow, there is so much just outright bad about it. Larian did a passable job adapting 5th Edition to a video game, but, wow, that limitation really sucks a lot of joy out of this game. A D20 makes sense at a table top. Something that wildly random in a video game, though? It makes every skill check a pain that encourages save scumming. Also, people are so complimentery about how many different ways you can go about things, but, really, it's nothing new. And it breaks entirely too often. The whole Mol thing in the first act is so limiting that I'm amazed it's not talked about more often And this isn't even getting into what is just an outright terrible story pacing. It's always nice to know your character's context in a world, and BG3 gives you none of that. You get to randomly say that you're a Baldurian at times, and that's about it. Why is it called Baldur's Gate if we only get to the city at the very end? The city is a character in itself in the setting, but this game decides that the most generic fantasy forest setting should be where we spend the first chunk of the game Overall, this is the ultimate example of a 3/5 in gaming but is treated as the greatest game ever made by so many people who clearly lack any historical context for this game or its genre
