Ashes 2063 is a total conversion for the GZDoom engine that dismantles Doom II and rebuilds it as a survival‑oriented, Fallout‑meets‑S.T.A.L.K.E.R. adventure. This mod delivers a richly immersive journey through irradiated wastelands, gang‑ruled ruins, and mutant‑infested highways.

 

Dive Into a Wasteland Like No Other

 

  • A Gritty Rebuild of Doom – explore dozens of hand‑crafted maps filled with explosive, fast‑paced combat and tense exploration.
  • Post‑Nuclear Storytelling – step into the role of a scavenger navigating factions, mutants, and radiation while following a cryptic radio broadcast emanating from an irradiated metropolis.
  • Modern Mechanics in a Retro Shell – enjoy reloading, crouching, jumping, full mouse‑look, radiation effects, inventory, crafting, destructible environments, shops, NPC dialogue, unique death animations, and side quests. All layered over classic Doom engine mechanics.
