Absolutley innovative
Very interesting and innovative gameplay. Roguelike but a city builder, your choices have great impact on the gameplay before the very start of a level. I played my first game on veteran difficulty and I barely won. Understanding what I was missing in the game I know for future levels on what to watch out for. Great game.

Interesting mix of ideas
TLDR: it's a city-building roguelike. Yeah. How do you make a city / colony builder and give it a roguelike twist? Periodic storms sweep the continent and wipe out everything. You can succeed or fail on any given city. Success gives you a way to earn things that will carry over into the next cycle. You'll spend most of your time in the city builder, but there's also a map. Using the map, you should plan your route - because it is a route - of city-founding to end up near a seal, which will grant a permanent extension to the wash-rinse-repeat cycle. If you get there too soon, you won't have what you need to fix the seal. Too late and the storm wipes your route and you start over. Different resource availability in different locations means that you can't always build the same buildings to earn a successful finish. People are a scarce resource, and like all resources must be managed well in quantity and type. You will often get hit with random events, which often require some scrambling to resolve. Graphics are nice. Music is unobtrusive. UI is packed with info and pretty intuitive. So far I love it. It's an ever-changing puzzle, and if that's your thing then you will too.

Very Zen game
Early access review, still getting the hang of the game. Very good game pretty easy to get started but lots of nuance. Very Zen in the sense you need to roll with what the game's RNG gives you and stay flexible. If you try to bludgeon your way through or uses a cookie-cutter strategies for all situations, you will struggle. One size does not fit all :-) Adapt to the current situation, stay flexible (not always easy to do) and be prepared to change plans. Very stable, no crashes or bugs (yet). Needs some UI improvements but very good for early access.

Love it!
I have high expectations on building games, and this game makes me happy. I want a good UI, shortcuts, fluent gameplay, a unique style, no high end specs and an overall fine experience. I love oxygen not included, space haven, northguard. It looks I will add this game to my favorite list. Keep going the good work, devs! Thanks for this game! Recommended.

Great game
I can't believe it's still early access. Game gives you many hours of high quality fun with allmost no technical issues (in 36 hours game crashed 1 time, no dumb bugs or any other annoying stuff). If you like citi builders and find roguelite element interesting, you can buy Against The Storm right now.
