whats so hard about this ? Easy - you have button already configured to do exactly that. you press it and it is a 2nd minimise... That is against logic.

This has annoying implications when playing over steam link and wanting to track progress in galaxy and sync save games. I can't restart the game from the client in the living room as galaxy will still run from the previous session although closed through X. Please exit application through X or at least provide option to configure this behaviour. The way it is now I can't run the game through steam link wrapped by GOG Galaxy (which I'd prefer) so I'm running it over steam link without Galaxy. It was hard to set up like this in the first place and if this does not even provide a benefit anymore because I have to run to the desktop in the other room every time, I might as well buy through steam.

This is just petty design.
Of course any program I work on is so important that the user should never be allowed to close it, why would they ever want to?

Couldn't agree more. I love the client but this is definitely a step back from the previous version

Agree. What is the point of having the X and the - in the title bar if they both basically do the same thing. X should eXit.
