This game is just pure random fun with a lot of humor! It does not take itself seriously and it's great fun because of it! There are a few control glitches here and there, but so far in 6+ hours of playing, that's really the only issue I had. It's very funny, doesn't make you get frustrated, has a good soundtrack and only about $15! The game play reminds me of Kingdom of Amalur, but with humor lol :)
This "Hidden Gem" is a very well done souls-like Metroidvania game! Beautiful graphics and the sound/music works well. Combat is a lot of fun and I like how one mouse button is gun and the other is a sword (melee weapon). Weapons are upgradable and the map is very clean and easy to follow. Just play the game, it's worth every penny!
This is very intriguing game! I’ve been having a blast playing it so far and find it rather addictive! It is a very refreshing throwback, good ol’ RPG. I am not totally sure as to why but to me it has that “Heroes Of Might & Magic 3” feel/vibe to it. I love the mechanics of this game and how deep this game feels. The visuals are fantastic and the screen scrolling while exploring is very smooth. You just play! There isn’t (or doesn’t seem to be) a main story line (but many side quests). You, the user just do your own thing! You choose where to go, who to recruit, how to make money, and where to camp at night. My only complaint so far, and it really isn’t a major issue I just find it odd I guess, is that the Camp Chest isn’t really what (to me) I thought it would be. I thought it would take weight from you, but it doesn’t. It seems to be mainly to separate regular items from stolen items and that’s all. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!
I recently just heard of this game, and so glad that I did! It is fantastic! It's made from a team of literally 2 people, a husband and wife! If Diablo 1+2, WarTales and perhaps Witcher 3 and Skyrim (if they were top down games) had a child, I feel like this game would be that! The crafting mechanics are also super well done. It's not a "in your face" Action RPG but definitely has it's moments. My suggestion, go into this game “blind.” Just play it without tons of research. You’ll be glad you did. Svarog’s Dream is an old-school RPG that’s a wonderful homage to games and series that we see far too little of nowadays. It may not have the star power nor the budget of Diablo IV and Baldur’s Gate 3, but that doesn’t mean its world is any less enthralling to explore and get killed in.
