Just remember to do everything you are taught in the beginning, as if you don't, they will trace it back to you and you will be caught. To those that say they did what needed to be done and you got found later, you forgot to do something, plain and simple. I have completed the game, and on my first play through, I never got traced once. Note to pay attention to your email, as an important message will eventually come through near the beginning. If you miss it, you will be hacking systems with no story. Enough said.

Completed it so have to give it at least 3 stars. It is missing a lot of things that were present in X-COM UFO Defense that brings its rating way down. Just a few of many: Squad limitation to only a handful is one issue. In UFO Defense, I had so many guys in so many locations at once because you could pack them in a UFO! Even the skyranger you could pack in 2 tanks and 6 guys in the original. Buzz Bombs is my biggest biggest biggest letdown of this game. You used to have multiple waypoints with buzzbombs in the original. I had them snaking through the largest of UFO's and hitting exactly where I wanted it. In this one? It is like a rocket launcher with a big blast, nothing more. Mars? Where is Mars? Final fight is on Earth. Such a huge letdown on the ending with this one. You had to create a UFO that could get to Mars in the original, and that final fight was so Epic! This one? Not so much. Just a fight on an Alien UFO. Boring.
Removing 1 star however with the abrupt ending. The whole story is epic right up to this point where it all a sudden ends. Great game though.

Hmm... I was expecting around $20 for this one. $30 is too much. Great game though, even the old version of it on The Force Engine. I think I will wait for a sale on this one though. Love the game, own the original, have Force Engine, but need it to say $19.99 first.
If you like a game where you have to man the machine gun and shoot gobs of planes down before they kill you all the while your boat is on rails, then this is the game for you. Not fun at all.
