LOVE Love love this game. It and its predecessor. Some maps STILL frustrate me in a good way. I have played thru this game at least 500 times. The humor is great. Doesn't outstay its welcome. Slapping imps, Farting Bile demons, Sexy Mistress are some of your minions to beat you foes with. Peter Molyneux/Bullfrog did this one correctly. There are a lot of games who try to recreate the feel of this title. Some come close but none IMHO are better.
I hate this game, 3 forum posts on how to beat the 1st mission...I was already doing what they said and still failed. After an hour I give up... 1st mission should ease you into the game not beat your butt..its not a good time failing 10x in a row on the freaking 1st mission. Check the forums before you waste even a dollar on this aggrivating game.
It's what you expect from a HD WC2 clone. Voice acting is good and humorus at times. Not much more to say.
Fun resource management, space base builder, defense, and sim management. I would'nt say this game is perfect, but for less $5 its a decent buy. Play the tutorial missions you'll find what this game has to offer. The biggest minus I can say is dealing with the "Sims" emotional needs and relationship management. Although its an annoyance to make sure everyone likes home, work, and each other it doesn't ruin the complete experience.
