all 3 - 5 years I have to play this through. One of the best fighting and character systems in RPG history
not the complexity of a might & magic but still good for some nostalgic hours
one of the best games of all times 3 Stars, because I cant understand why the GERMAN SPEECH FILES are not included we germans only remember this game with this excellent translation. I would never play the english version, so unfortunately a no buy for me. I cant see the problem, since these language files cant be lost
everyone who loves dungeon crawlers like in the early times (grid based) - this one is what you are looking for. I enjoyed Grimrock, Might and Magic Legacy and all the retro games from the 90s and early 00s. But this one is different, the setting is fresh and inspiring, the grafics and presentation is just top notch (better than grimrock). The riddles and combat are challenging but solveable on normal level. Go get this one, you wont regret it. I hope for more of such games in the future.
do not believe some haters here, Ultrima 9 is an excellent game. Awesome graphics for that time and a really lovely and well designed world, full of secrets and wonderful spots. The story is quite good actually, and I like that its always clear, what to do next. Yes it had some Bugs at release, but they had all been fixed with the latest updates. The machines of that time were nearly not able to display the grafics with a smooth framefrate, but nowadays you can enjoy the full detail level and play U9 how it should have been in that time.
