Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth

Poor bordering on boring

I wanted to give this "game" zero stars but I can't as the 'Save my review' button doesn't work so knock the one off that I had to give. Fed up with the way too long sequences where you have to wait for the auto speeches to finish. Very poor graphics. Nonsense way of having to try and stop a sliding disc on the screen in a rectangle to progress any further when carrying out an action. Similar method of answering questions, didn't always get a chance to read all the choices before the time allowed had expired.

Syberia: The World Before

Great graphics

Great graphics but the automatic scenes go on waaay tooo lonnng with no way of stopping them. This is why it doesn't get 5 stars.

Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon (2003)

Boring

Terrible controls (keyboard) after being used to mouse control. All you seem to be doing is pulling/pushing/climbing crates if you know where to put them. Had to rebuy the game as my original CD version rarely started. Wish I hadn't bothered.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

Very poor

Unable to save your progress as and when. Completely wasted an hour only to find that next time I went in I started outside that damn tunnel.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey

Could be better

Very poor mouse control. Too much combat. I got bored with it in chapter 5 and gave up.
