Hi, I bought this yesterday and finished it in a few hours. I was a bit surprised it was this short. I remember struggling a lot more with the original. But here is why: 1. You can press shift to see important glowing objects - This is blasfemi in point and click adventure. Half the fun is figuring stuff out self and looking for objects. 2. The bike fighting was hilariously easy. Just a few hits and I beat them. In a couple of minutes I had all the weapons needed to continue. What is good about the game is the graphics: Widescreen (you see more of the environment) and crisp and detailed animations and characters and backgrounds that are true to the original. You can also press F1 any time to compare graphics. Very cool feature! I must admit some of the original graphics had more atmosphere: Dark and more gritty. The sound is also remastered so you get clear and good chunky guitar riffs and drums. Would I recommend this to old or new players? Both yes and no. If you like a more challenge play the original. If you are a huge fan and want to see the changes and the bonus content, grab this.

I played for an hour or so, and the gameplay is good, and the graphics and details are amazing. But you get constantly interrupted wherever you go where your character can't move and you have to listen to dialogs or watch the camera pan left and right showing you what secret / door you opened. It's very distracting and takes away the flow of the game. Also making it feel very scripted. I never had this issue with other games like Flashback, Another World or any other 2d sidescrollers. I will give it some more try later on.

The whole thing just felt "cheap" and characters looks paperthin. The transitions from animations, let say jumping seems very rushed. Seen a lot of older games do this a lot better (Another World, Flashback and many more). The mouse sensitivy is way too sensitive even when I turned it all the way down to "off" in options. I didn't get passed the training stage since the game didn't appeal to me. The gun sound effect was good though, thats the only thing I liked (loud and packed a punch). A waste of 14 dollars

This game had so bad framerate on my rig that it is almost unplayable. I tried it on my 5 year old computer wich manage to run Far Cry 3 very good on high settings with average of 30 fps and no stuttering. The graphics are also really bad, not that I am a graphic whore, but it seems these people who made this game have no artistic talent. It looks like an old tech 3d-demo that is 10 years old and the colors looks ugly and plastic. It's really sad cause I love survival games. Better luck next time guys...
This game is too easy and repetetive. Think of this game as a hollow easter egg; Beautifully painted on the outside, but nothing inside. You will visit 10 cities, where you will do the excact same things: Listen to a conversation to find out where your target is, then you are transferred to your target and just have to kill him and escape. There is no sence of accomplishment in the game as it holds your hand all the time. The wall-climbing is automatic, it is impossible to fall and do an error, same with roof jumping. The fighting is easy and you will survive as long as you hold the block button in. A proof of this is that I killed 50 soldiers in a village, where everyone was attacking me. They all stood around me in a circle and they all attacked gently in turns. When I had killed all people I did a test: I exited the village, then returned and found out that all had miraculously respawned back to life. This didn't come to me as a surprise, but a mere statement of what I think of this game. The reason this game got high reviews was that most of the reviewers just played this game for an hour and did not explore the errors of this piece of shit. Ubisoft is known to making shitty games and this is an excellent example. And now they milk the product caming out with a sequel allmost every year. I have not played the other games but I can at least warn you about this.
