Well, in my opinion. I just finished crapping all over the sequel on Steam and felt kinda harsh, so I came to GOG to praise the original. This game is tight, well paced generally, and doesn't fail at anything it's trying to do. Does it do everything else perfectly? No, but it's still fun. And it runs on potato peels. And has tons of challenging replay value. Good game! $10 is a fair price.
Very metal, adolescent and brutal. It's not the hardest game I've ever played, but the challenge is definitely there. It is short; I took around 10 hours to beat it with over 300 deaths, but the checkpoints put you right back in the action quickly. The art is great, I love the music, and the action is tight and arcadey. Worth the price in my opinion.
