Massive vibrant city , was sad when the storyline finished, then a free DLC was released and the game lives on.
Back in 2001 I was blown away by a game that I knew very little about, I could use poison darts from a crossbow, hack computers, pick locks, improve firearms and attributes, I could clear a whole apartment with stealth . It was futuristic and well ahead of it's time the open world and locations blew me away, the game was Deus Ex and I never thought a game would impact me the same ever again, but Cyberpunk blew it out of the water for me and is one of my top 5 games I have ever played, the skill system, the ingame content, the world, the story, the city, the badlands, it's just a magical mystical breathing place and I love it !!
Over 100 hours in the game because I got a decent way through the first run and decided on a more "Good" path joined the rebels and the game was much better for my liking. great spell crafting, leveling and storyline , it's so sad there will never be a Tyranny 2, this game was so badly let down by Obsidian in terms of advertising that it's criminal.
This was the first ever SWS game i have refunded and i have played them all exile, geneforge , Avernum, it was awful , no XP on kills , no XP until you hand in a quest, no rest option to regenerate mana and health, talking about mana there is not even decent potions to regenerate mana whilst out questing , barely any character attributes or variety, if you get a tough quest you must run all the way back to city to regenerate health and mana then run all the way back to quest area, Sorry SWS but this game seemed rushed with no love. I did like rebuilding and the story line, but it did not keep me long enough to know the rest of the game was disappointing.
Wow what a great game, i am very pleased i brought this in a package deal with book 2 and 3. i loved the skill table, the character creation, i loved the challenge of staying alive, it was highly entertaining all the way to the end. My only gripe is it could have done with more locations to purchase more arrows.
MY GOD !! this game is not even half as good as fallout 2 it's confusing there is no variety in weapons,armour,Actually there is no armour merchant and i think there is 4 bit of armor in whole game ,the world is at least a quater of the size of fallout 2 ,the battle mechanics is point and click , it gets old very quickly , who ever rates this as good as fallout 2 needs thier heads examined because fallout 2 is not this bad !!
