This is nice, wholesome game I lie to play to get my spirit up. It's like listening to Bob Ross saying nice thing to make you feel good. Game as challenging as you want it to be. Really, dev made a wonderful job. I return to valley every now and then.

Nice graphics, and game has idea for itself. I like inventory concept, all skill trees and so on. But the controls are messed up. So messed up, that it is barely playable for me. Want to throw some healing on yourself? Good bloody luck if you had selected some offensive skill. Wan't to select different enemy to be pulped by your hero? Yeah, only when they are not too close. Combat feels like turn-based, but you have to select everything in real time, but there is no indicator on cooldowns or anything, just very long animations... On Windows 10 additionally you can see a graphical glitch here and there, but nothing really serious. If it goes to lore and so on, it might be good - i just haven't cared for it, because I was frustrated by control and game responsiveness (those bloody long animations). Solid 3+, and if you believe other reviews, may be 4 if take story into account.

After Dungeons 2, I wanted more, and this was on sale. And I regret buying it. Narrator, though as talented as before, but there is limit to what you can do with bad script. Main anti-heroine is cringy as F. Just like humor. And dialogues. Constantly reminds me of a something that I would expect from a bad-stereotyped gender studies graduate. "Let's kill all, because they are making fun of me, therefore racism" is motivation of main character, seriously. Cool, evilly evil like in original Dungeon Keeper, or Overlord? Not in this game. More like 'vicious activist from Twitter' kind of 'evil'. Plus long dead memes, its game from 2017 and those memes were already long, long dead. Criiinge. But what about gameplay? It's single-player MOBA. But worse. Liked Dungeons 2, or Dungeon Keeper? Or do you like League of Legends? This game plays like bastard child of both, with mix of a uncle 'Dungeon Keeper Mobile'. Even campaign maps look like MOBA ones. Do yourself a favor, and get Dungeons 2, at least you will have some fun times. Or get League of Legend, or something like that, at least you will save yourself some money. Music is present, visuals are OK, to say it kindly. Interface sucks, and looks like something ported from a mobile game. Overall game feels like someone arrogant got too much power, went crazy and rejected all good ideas from designers, because those were not his/hers. Every small improvement from previous instance of series feels like it was there because it was there by accident. I could rag on it, but to sum it up: get yourself Dungeons 2, and assume that there was no more games in this series.

Game's fun, that`s for sure. Some people complained on clunky controls, and yea sometimes they are little awkward, but it's hardly noticeable during campaign. Graphics are nice, music is OK, gameplay somewhat mediocre, but what makes this game a really nice experience is it`s humor. During campaign we can experience some nice humor, obvious but not annoying references to real world culture, and the Narrator: a cherry on the top with pleasant British accent (just like Stanleys Parable, I think that's same actor). Nicely delivered humor is why this game is worth trying. Flaws... Short. Plus, there are two factions (even in campaign), but second one feels like filler, rushed before release. Overall, short, but fun, worth giving a try, if you don't expect masterpiece it might give you few hours of fun.
