Banished

Impossibly Good!

I have never restarted a game so many times in the my life. Each time I think I have managed to figure out the best way to start up my little community and each time, by the time winter hits I have shortages all over the place. All this and still I go back for more! The graphics are fantastic and the game play is wonderful. Like other reviewers have indicated, if you are looking for a fast paced game then skip this one, but if you want a challenge than man this is the game for you!

Broken Age: The Complete Adventure

Weirdly Wonderful

Ok, this game is weird. Like really. The story is weird and the game play is weird, but you know what, I still enjoyed it. I actually loved being able to jump back and forth between the main characters. When I was getting stuck and frustrated with one story line I would just switch to the other as a respite, as it were. So your two main characters are as different, as different can be. One is in space and the other on an earth like planet (to start). Their stories are utterly unique and yet perfectly entwined. The graphics are a lot of fun to look at. I would love to visit the brain of the creators cause there are some really wacky locations and characters in this. It's weird, it's wacky, it's worth it.

Blackwell Bundle

Love, love, love!

Ok, so I can't even remember how I stumbled across these games but I LOVE them! The story is fantastic and it left me wanting so much more! If you are someone who plays games for the story line then check these babies out! Meet Rosa, a young woman with a troubled family history, who finds out one day she has inherited the family ghost, Joey. It is her mission to help ghosts who have stayed behind find their way on with the help of the wise-cracking, always by her side, Joey. Even when certain puzzles were frustrating it didn't matter because all I wanted to know was what happened next in the story. The first game is quite short and is a lot of talk. It provides a lot of backstory for the coming games. The other three in the bundle are probably better, but it's worth taking the time to get the backstory.
