It feels like a living, breathing world. You can interact with almost anything in the game. You can bake bread, you can pick up arrows after you've shot them. The npcs have their own lives and daily routines. Incredible. The music (the song 'stones') gives me such nostalgia when i hear it. Its really an amazing feeling playing this game and having that feeling that you really can go wherever you want and do whatever you like almost.
Just hearing the music from this game brings back so many memories for me. Many, many hours were spent by me playing Baldur's Gate and its amazing sequel Baldur's Gate 2. Such great party members that you really end up caring about. You really get taken on an epic adventure when you play these games.
When I first started playing it (after I had played Ultima 7!), i was initially put off by the graphics and the turn based movement. But before long, I had totally forgotten about that, because the game is just so good you don't even notice the graphics after a while! Amazing game, i love it. Such a big, amazing world to explore with so many towns. And sometimes when you are just wandering around the countryside you will come across a cave or something with something so cool and interesting in it! Oh I love this game :)
So much fun! Improved on the original and got even more fun! You had the boot of a car where you could store a lot of stuff. Now you could control/customise your party members a bit more which was great. Oh i love Fallout 2. I really dont know what else to say, because I don't know where to begin. Fallout 1 and 2 are among the best gaming experiences I've ever had.
What an amazing story. What amazing atmosphere. great characters in the party. I really have no words to do it justice. The turn based combat was so fun. The weapons were fun. Choosing which perks and how to specialise your character was fun. The quests were fun and many had different ways to solve them. I love Fallout.
I have the best memories playing this game. I played it in high school with my friend who was also playing it at the time. We would chat on the phone about the game and discuss what we were doing and where we got stuck (mainly me asking him for hints on how to get past bits! :D). I love the different schools of magic. Each was so different and it was so fun learning each of them. The world felt amazing and set my imagination on fire (and still does when i think about this game). I loved it.
Such a great game. I played it over and over again back in the day. You really could take your civilazation in whichever direction you wanted. you could design your fleet of ships and tailor every single ship type to be exactly what you wanted, from cheap, small ships with just a laser, to giant behemoths that take many turns to build. The different choices of race to play as really changed how you played the game. Alliances and who you at war with were really important. Getting votes to become the leader of the galactic alliance. Space news reports on tv and random events. Master of Orion 1 was so much fun, one of my favourite games ever.
It has a storyline and characters that have stayed with me more than a decade after I completed it. I can still hear April Ryan's voice (the main character that you play) as I journeyed through this amazing adventure, hearing her thoughts on everything, and experiencing everything. I love it.
