Waterloo

Ok game

I had it back then. I believe it was made by some college, but I don't remember the name. Had it on my Amiga 500. Accurate history, but at the time it seemed slow as a snail. GOG version may not have that problem IDK. If you are a military history buff and old game collector, it might be good on a discount.

Legions

Legions!

I had this when it came out. I was 38 then lol. It's a pretty good strategy game with diplomacy in it. I have fond memories of it. I was deep into ancient Greek military history back then, so I enjoyed it even more. For it's time Mindscape did a good job.

Powerslave

Price?

I got this from a bargain bin back in the 90's for about five bucks, maybe six. I played it a little, although I did not care for the area save spots. When it goes down to five again I might get it.

Gary Grigsby's War in the West

Too High

I had this game in the late 80's. It was Second Front. It is a great game and i loved it. Grisby makes very good game. However, 80 bucks for a game that is the same expect maybe a bit prettier than before is just too much. I want it again but it will have to go down to a reasonable price for a game that old. Meanwhile if I need that strategic fix I will play Hearts of Iron. I also had War in the West. I believe it was called West Front?

Gary Grigsby's War in the East

Gary Grigby

I had the original games back in the early 90's. The games were excellent back than full of troop detail. They are not casual games, but the history buff will love it. It looks like these games are nicely updated. I plan to get them myself.

Heart of China

Agree with tmnt482

I did not get to finish this game. Played only maybe a quarter of the game, but I remember how fun it was. tmnt is spot on. Great graphics for it's time on the Amiga. Did have that Indiana Jones feel to it. Glad to see it here on the best game site there is! GOG you keep surprising me!
