I am a horrible FPS gamer. I generally don't touch these kinds of games because I don't find getting killed all the time fun. This game, though, actually has a story and a reason to keep going. The only reason I played this at all is because I read the book. I wanted to experience the things that happened in the Metro and I wasn't disappointed. For a actual good FPS gamer this game may be a little short, but for me it took about 12 hours or so on normal. I am looking forward to playing the next one.

This game has held my attention for the past week. In my book that's a good game. The story is good and keeps you driving forward. The artwork is pleasant, with just enough left to the imagination to be engaging. The combat is fairly old school turn based feel. The allies are all fairly different and fill a niche. I haven't run into any major bugs, so I guess they fixed those. The only star I would drop is the price point, but you see this game go on sale enough that shouldn't be an issue.
