Just bought, but played years before. I love this game, because it is nearly as unique and brilliant as Dungeon Keeper. Nearly ^^ If you like Dungeon Keeper, you will enjoy this one although.
But i give only 3 Points for 2 Reasons: 1. Only englisch Version. At least a german localisation exists. 2. Unable to start the game with Windows 8+. The Reason is the Windows Desktop Manager and the Lack of HiColor Modes. Fixing of the first point would let me buy the game to replace my disc based german version ! Second point makes it impossible to play Return to Krondor on Windows 8+ even by using a VM, because that would not fix the HiColor Problem.
