Maybe I´m to stupid for the game. I remember Spell Force from the past and thought, lets enjoy a old game again. I start some of the free rounds, make my avatar, choose my faction and start one of the maps with lower levels. Only to die. Like I say, maybe I´m to stupid for the game but what is this? I build my base, start to collect resources only to get raid by a army 4 minutes after I start. I don't even have soldiers or got the chance to make some. On one map a Troll game short after i start the map, killed my avatar and destroy my base. On a other map I got too attacked short after I start. And often the enemies are higher level and the levels are so stupid too. One level 2 or 3 enemy can kill 5 of my soldiers and my avatar. Like I say, maybe I´m to stupid for that game. But a game where I get attacked by enemies, 2 minutes after I build my first building and don't even had the chance to make soldiers, that is crap. And that even one level higher is enough that one enemy can kill more of my soldiers. I try a round today again and here too. I even had some soldiers and my titan but then a army of level 3 enemies arrive and destroy my hole base and kill my soldiers and the Titan. They even got nearly zero damage. Even my towers done nothing. Like I say what is that crap? Where is the balance? I don't even got no chance to look, how I can upgrade my soldiers or something like that. I had some good memories, if it comes to Spell Force but that here? No thanks.
After 2 year i want to say 9 updates and like 40 something hot fixes nothing has really change. You still get the same 15 hour play-through. Not worth getting in early access and at this point I don't know if it will live up to the BG2 name. Wait till it drops then read some reviews about the actual game before you decide to get this. Been in early access for a long time with no real changes. I played BG2 so when i saw this i jumped at it but after playing it I honestly would say wait don't get this game in early access. It never really runs smooth, glitches, lags while loading and it is really more like a demo. Casting spells and long rests go together like white on rice in this game, if you cast a spell you need a long rest so you can use it in the next fight. Which does not makes the game run fluid as you play through it. I really get the vibes like when Diablo 3 came out and just disappointed everyone tbh. Don't give them any money for this not worth it.
If you think it is better than Tomb Raider underworld, you will be disappointed. Why? GOOD: Graphics are nice. Lara is on an early stage of her life. Action cutscenes are sometimes truly memorable. Learn new skills and techniques as the story unfolds or as Lara learns to survive. BAD: The game is like a Call of Duty tunnel action story driven. Too few puzzles for a tomb raider game. Surrounding believable (mass/weight) physics and Lara's capabilities are at there worst, truly and mostly stupid and unbelievable. Example: Lara can not pull a heavy bell toward her, but suddenly, for the sake of the puzzle, she will succeed against contrary strong wind force? No Multiplayer.
To make it short, an absolutely charming and awesome platformer true to the best traditions. Honestly, can’t really think of anything you could make better here. Scenarios vary a lot, whatever you can think of, be it 2D, 3D, puzzle-sections, runner levels, arenas and whatnot. Great quality in animations, voice-overs and music, innovative ideas and characters all around. You can literally feel all the love that was put into this game, no kidding. Difficulty also is very forgiving and more on the casual side (but still engaging enough to keep your attention, probably even good for children with a little experience). That said, I admit the game isn’t really that long if you’re rushing through it (only 6 worlds with 4-5 main levels mostly), but if you’re going for completion the time stamp is just ideal in my opinion. So, enough said, big recommendation from me, definitely one of the must-plays for every 3D platformer lover with a knack for the old stuff, at least I enjoyed every minute of it.
I like this game. But I need to give negative review due to several major issues in the game. 1. Text/Font When using higher resolution, the text is very small and hard to read. There's tweak that editing file game to changing the font type... I try it and the text is become readable , but yet still too small. 2. Camera Camera is so annoying. I already try add a custom camera option, playing with those camera slider, nothing seems to work for me. I don't like the camera.
The remastering team behind these amazing games should find a different occupation. In some cases the Original looks better or exactly the same as the Remaster on PC. But I did notice the improved Textures. Sometimes it made a little difference. But not a big one. I think you would notice a bigger difference comparing the Remaster to the 360 Version, it's definitely an Upgrade on Console. Just not on PC.

Pretty neat game with a switch between human form and ghost form. Story-wise, it's good and manages to provide a spooky atmosphere with the sound effects. But it is pretty short. I could complete the entire game whilst collecting all scrolls and 100% achievement in less than 3 hours (without referring to any guides). The good thing is that if you read the dialogues, you won't need any sort of guide for progressing and also there aren't any miss-able achievements (except maybe for 2 of them). Recommended if you like platformers.
