Lakeburg Legacies

Very lovely and addictive cozy game

I've enjoyed this cozy game for 16+ hours at the point of writing this review and I plan on playing a lot more. ✦ The graphics are absolutely beautiful. ✦ The music is really nice. ✦ I don't know about previous versions, but I find the rules/mechanics quite clear and the UI easy to read and navigate. When a kid becomes 6 or 18 or when someone becomes widowed, their portrait pops up and satys in the bottom of the screen if you have the filter activated. You can see what job a deceased citizen had if you click on their name. It doesn't aim to be a simulator on how medieval life was, it's a pleasing cozy game where you get to know all your citizens, see them get old, have kids, their kids grow up... while you strive to make their village a better place to live in. I like everything about this game. If there's something about it that could be better, for me that's the fact that you can get to know your first citizens better than your last ones. At the beggining, the game is slower, so you can enter their house and read about events on their relationships. Later, there's not much time to do that. Of course, you can pause time and then read, but they become too many families, and you need time passing to get the resources needed to keep improving things. Nevertheless, a really nice twist on management games whith outstanding art. For me is a 4.5/5.
