Way to much forced talking and forced cut scene at least at the start. I can't say about the rest of the game. It was all I could do to make it past the start. While the game has a difficulty slider, I don't think it works. Then to add insult to extreme difficulty you get mana fever, and zero weapons potions to start. I played it for about a hour. 15 minutes or so was making a character, another 20 mins or so in cut scenes. The rest of the time dying. I uninstalled and deleted the downloaded files.
I downloaded it, installed it. Hit the launch button. Absolutely no response from any key on the keyboard or the mouse. Windows key to get task manager. Killed the process. Restarted my computer. Launched the game from the shortcut. At which point hitting any key pulls up the windows setting menu. First and last warhammer game I will ever buy, probably sega too. Do yourself a favor. Pull the 10 bucks out of your pock and burn it. You will get longer enjoyment and probably more from watching the 10 dollar bill burn, then you will this game.
Same voice acting over and over. AI is kinda stupid, really no customization, mechs with arms but no weapon slots in those arms. Why put a arm on it in the first place? You could get a mod to fix that, but that mod is for a early version of the game. And since most mod makers have gotten bored with the game, you won't be using many if any. Weapons are not even close to balanced, energy weapons fire slow and produce lots of heat. Gauss has a recoil, which is amazing since it is suppose to be a magnetic rail gun, PPC has a recoil as well. The best weapon is the UAC 5, high rate of fire low heat pretty high damage. Hopefully you can get the mod to remove the jump ship animation, as it is incredibly annoying after the first few times of seeing it, which you will be seeing it every time you move on the map screen.
