The theme is similar to Blackthorne, with heavy metal music. However, Blackthorne character moves more like flashback or Prince of Persia while in Valfaris is a metroidvania. Very fun game. Hard, but fun.
If you played Hotline Miami, and you liked it, you'll like this game. The colors, music, retro style and gameplay are very similar although this is a side-scroll. Similar to HLM, you have instructions for every mission. Very enjoyable, better if it's in offer.
I really liked the game, the graphics reminded me a little bit of Flashback. Both, the game and the DLC are very enjoyable.
I bought the game some time ago because never played when it was originally released. The game itself is awesome but requires some patience. Ecery stage is kind of a puzzle that must be solved with some precision or you'll get killed and have to start again which can be frustrating. It is kind of glitchy in my pc, don't know exactly why, but it freezes sometimes. Besides this and other minor bugs, I would recommend this game. I am giving it 3 stars because of the glitches, but as I mentioned before, the game is awesome, and without the bugs it deserves 5 stars.
I've been playing the game for few hours, and it is a great game. The music, the game play, and the pixelated style remembers me Kabuki: Quantum Fighter from NES. Of course, the music quality is better since it is a contemporary. I would recommend this game, It's really good.
I liked the game. It is similar to the first part but with more characters and stages. Each character has its unique way of do things, so that adds to the variety too. Good game...
I never played the PC version before, but the Sega 32X port. It is a totally new experience and I like more the use of the mouse, it makes it very playable. Great classic in my opinion.
This game is a trip. The colors, the music and the action, I found it very engaging. Highly recommended if you're not sensitive to violence. I hope some day Dennaton makes a version of this game where different players can play it and compete, similar to Brawl Stars and others.
