Turbo Overkill

Excellent FPS that stands tall

Yes, lot's of jumping. When you can land on an enemies head with a chainsaw leg? Who cares. Breakneck pace, extremely intense, and a gorgeous art style to boot! It reminds me alot of the old build engine greats, in the way it FEELS, not plays. I think some are being a bit too critical of this game, although in the current state of gaming it is understandable. Love the enemy variety, and there is a good amount of tactical planning that is in play here. Overall, 4.5/5 for me, but rating it 5 to combat some of the reviews I feel are unfair.

FlatOut 2

A beautiful fun game from a bygone era.

While the game has aged extremely well, and is a total blast, the music hasn't. So I just turn it off and blast black metal for about the most fun a guy can have. Cheers!

Freedom Fighters

Wondrous Nostalgia Trip

This game is worth every penny whether you have played it or not, or if it is on sale or not. The controls are tight and the framerates are very solid. I have experienced zero issues playing this game, looks very crisp in 2k 16:9. The Combat is still very entertaining after all of these years. The simple but squad based mechanics add so much variation to the game that it adds a certain amount of replay value. Great score and story! Even though its old, it still sucks you into its premise. GOG did a fantastic job releasing this game. It runs absolutely beautifully, and revives and amazing forgotten game. Enjoy fighting for freedom.
