I've played the demo of this game when I was a kid while subscribed to official xbox magazine and it intrigued me. Now years later I finally bought the full game its has annoying sections that i'm assuming were meant to just slow your progress down like the long escalator section, the key that loops you back, and then giving some guy chocolate milk. I'm no longer intrigued to play any further. However, The concept of the game is incredibly creepy and reminds me of the movie room 1408.
The enhanced version of quake 2 is epic, especially the music. Good times with this game watching my buddy play it on his grandmas computer way back in the day.
This game focuses more on a small group of soldiers making their way through the vietnam landscape completing different objectives. This may include ambushing some helicopters before they take off, commandeering a boat to patrol a river, and even taking part in a massive assault with APC's. I enjoyed it because I like outfitting my small group of soldiers with serious firepower, taking the time to adjust their inventory for the situation is a lot easier when its only 6 dudes. Thats where the difficulty comes in, making sure your 6 guys stay alive using guerilla tactics, setting their ROI to hold fire and getting them in position using direct control to set a perfect angle for ambush. If you like commandos you will most likely enjoy this.
You get the absolute best dialogue options.
Aside from the storyline the world is dull with nothing to do, can't even ride the tram without a mod. Stick with the original.
If it did not have terrible mouse input and utterly nauseating screen shake every time you shoot, maybe then it would be OK.
Kind of cheesy. Maybe thats the point. Just feels like celebrity game
