One of the greatest FPS games ever created.
I think it feels a bit stiff and floaty with awkward double jumping. Also has a roll feature like yooka-laylee that just feels like it goes way too fast without much control.
This game is not like the other men of war games, it almost exclusively features a 5 to 6 man squad that you keep basically the entire campaign. However I loved that fact because it gave me the opportunity to kit out my guys and really pay attention to their inventory, most of the time on large scale you don't bother with any of that unless you have to.
I go through the campaign once a year. Such a good storyline and voice actors, Michael Ironside (Fisher) and Don Jordan (Lambert) make the absolute best team.
Although simplistic in controlling your squad mates, it works really well and has great progression.
IMO this is the best one of the 3 part series. Just as everyone says its a hitman "clone" which is not a bad term in this case. They put a ww2 setting over it, the only thing I wish it had more of was driving, its cool they even added that in.
I got this game free with my geforce 5900xt as a kid and I never got past the first "level". But it sure was fun catching fish in a cave and cooking it on the fire, hearing nothing but the water and the echo of wind in the cave. The game has great atmosphere.
