Normal = Hard! Played it orginally on xbox years back and this game kicked my a*** on Normal. Didn't cheat with guides or videos. It took me a while before I beat it enjoyed it alot. Easy = Normal if you struggle switch to Easy. Unless you are like me who won't give up until he wins. Real gaming achievement is to beat this game on Hard without cheating.
fun combat at one point screen is filled with missiles flying at you. nice upgrade progression. simple visuals but it has potantial, if there will be next game give us ability to hire merc companion who flies next to us as support, different roles, ships and abilities, stats etc.
game is good but updates on gog are slow to release on. maybe its best to wait for full final update version.
Good - Combat makes this game stands out it has potential for sequal/remake if dev moves to UE5 with better visuals and animations, I can imagine if characters are well build and detailed slow motion effect could be spectacular up close mixed with good animations for photo mode etc. Classes and abilities are fun. Meh - Animations, world design maps, visuals in general are below average even, perhaps becasue its Unity engine. I normally dig story and characters in games and don't mind average writing and dialogues but here I couldn't care less. It was a bit poor lets be fair. Dev used decent voice actors but script wasn't good also quests. Also loot isn't random? Feels like I always pick same items if I reload the game. Its decent but wish it was random what you pick. Gave it 4 stars becasue I am enjoy the combat and I really hope we get a sequal in better engine with good visuals, animations and decent story and quests also deep character creator.
Played for about 5 hours pre released version. Not big into cRPGs. Played Divinity OS2 and this is similar. Best parts of the game were characters and conversations you are having these were high quality with very good voice acting, stories are intresting and characters you meet. You can decide to help people, lie to them or attack everyone etc. There are few ways of completing certain quests. Every decision and choice depends on roll chance. Combat is big in BG3 first I struggled with later fights in the game. But once it clicks and you learn what works and what isn't it will become easier and more enjoyable. Seems like a game you will be able to replay few times differently. Gave 4/5 becasue pre released version was a bit expensive for small chunk of full game. But I suspect full game will be very good if you enjoyed Divinity Original Sin 2 you will enjoy BG3!
this game will be the best RPG of 2011. Im pretty sure thats why Mass Effect 2 was pushed to 2012 bcoz they saw games like TW2 coming out that will get all the best awards ..again!!!! Good Luck CDPR! and Thank you
