And I'm not even using Windows. I can't express how happy I am this happened. DoW is how I got into Wh40K many years ago. I hope many more hear the call of The Emperor, grab a Lasgun and hold the line agaisnt the enemies of Man.
I like this game and would recommend it. I’ve been playing Battletech/Mechwarrior games since AGP video cards. Graphics and game play are what I expected for a turn-based game. What I don’t like • DX11 o Game would run better on DX12 or Vulcan • Main character being a mercenary. o Would have been better to be a part of the direct rebellion. Instead of grinding for better mechs and weapons just because, grind to increase access to better items for the rebellion. I feel the mercenary aspect is a cop out to not put time into telling a better story.
I played the hex out of another colony builder game and removed it from my computer after playing this. Visuals and graphics are great. Hits the sweet spot for micro and macro managment (for me). And, it has a storyline.
Wow this was a great game and was dark without being depressing.
