Svarog's Dream

A new game with old game QUALITY

If you want an immersive game and choices that matter to you... as a person in the real world... this game is for you. I dont miss NPC voice dialog since after you hear it once you click thru it anyway. Got both the main game and the expansion. I wanted a game that has lots of hours and replay ability and this fits the bill just like Titan Quest, POE, or the Diablo series. Also, a great team of developers put their heart and soul into this...they deserve the financial rewards for putting a game out there that educates you on moral choices and consequences.... as opposed to just mindless gaming. Go back in time to great story and great games again. Buy it, buy it now. A+++

Starcom: Nexus

Great Vibe. Great Game

I wasnt sure like alot of people about a 2D game but its good and worth the buy. Once you get your feet wet and do one exploration mission then return for your first ship upgrade its on. A game you can chillout to and have enough action to keep it interesting. I'll be buying the second one as well. Lots of hours in the game and those are hard to find.

UBOAT

Masterpiece

I want to thank the Developers for making this game. Since everything German is demonized these days its a credit to them for making this. They did a righteous job on the game from graphics, music, atmosphere, and quality of life. There are not many games where you can have almost unlimited, legit replayability but this is one of them. 100's of hours of chillout tactical sub play that is fun as well. Im familiar with the Silent Hunter legacy of games and this lives up to them and more. If any DLC's come out its an automatic buy. This is a game I will enjoy for years to come.

Shadowrun Hong Kong - Extended Edition

Best of the Shadow Runs

If you are low on budget just get Hong Kong out of the Trilogy. Most polished with good UI, graphics, narrative, vibe. 100% recommended.

Shadowrun Returns

Not Bad

I bought the trilogy. The last installment of Hong Kong is the best, most polished of the 3 by far. If I had to do over again I would just buy that one and call it good. Hong Kong has good vibe, polished UI, great narrative.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

Just Ok......

Cons: Bad voice acting that took me out of the immersion...like they didnt take it seriously beyond Van Helsing and Katerina. Major lapse by the developers. Always mobs and no other types of attacks on you. Gets old. Seems too arcade like. Since combat is a major part of the game this was a big deal. It just got boring. After these 2 cons I just wasnt invested in spending hours into the game building characters. I uninstalled it. Life is short. Pros: Excellent art and graphics Great Music

F.E.A.R. Platinum

FEAR Among the very BEST FPS Games Ever

I got this on sale not expecting too much but boy, did I underestimate what I was getting. The story, the refinement of the UI and quality of life aspects, and the combat gameplay are just incredibly fun. The developers thought of everything. The Slow Motion fight feature is something right out of The Matrix...well executed. Use it or not...you dont have to. There was one review that said you MIGHT need a fix file. Just to drop into the main install folder. Since it was easy to do I just got it and dropped it in just in case. Just do a search for "FEAR fix dinput.dll " and you will find it easy. Im not a modder or freak about mods and not tech savvy, but that was easy. You may not even need it. Something to do with the game speed overall slowing down after playing a bit. Because of this game's fun combat dynamic and intelligent AI this game has total replayability. A+++

SOMA

Soma is a Gem

This game surprised me. The graphics are ultra realistic and the journey it takes you on is surprising and unexpected. This is a game the PROVES without a doubt you can be totally engaged with a game and not have to use gunplay. I like that too but adventure doesnt always mean killing stuff nonstop. Im a third of the way in and taking my time...dont want it to end. Masterpiece. Its why you came to GOG in the first place.
