Tbh I dont get the dislike for this one from Trails community, some other games that came before, like CS III for example, were basically filler as far as main story was concerned, mainly serving to introduce or reintroduce characters and give them depth. Same thing here, while it has flaws and it isnt as good as Daybreak I was, I really love Van's team so spending more time with them and getting to know them better was worthwhile. I dont mind the story gimmick and at this point we do know it connects to Horizon as well, so for me aside for the poor pacing and even with everything, just not enough Elaine and Van interacting, I enjoyed this quite a bit. Its definitely not among the best, but for someone who considers this a really strong cast its comfortably middle of the pack. My biggest issue with this game is the split point of view, or having two MC's basically. It just isnt necessary and Van and his crew deserved at least one more game solely to themselves. We just had the same MC for five games straight but Van cant even get two, imo Falcom really did Calvard cast dirty with how they handled their games. If you are a trails fan and on the fence (tho I dont know why you would be if you are a trails fan), this is an easy purchase, so long as you dont expect this to move the overarcing plot forward, which very few games in the series actually do in my opinion.

As a person who generaly dislikes anything idol related I was sceptical about this, even tho I loved Love In Space's previous works. However after playing the demo it was clear to me that I would enjoy this game immensely. While the writing still has some nicks here and there overall the story is well thought out and always interesting, keeping you engaged to the very end. Its not always simply about the industry either, each route goes in different directions depending on the heroine and their respektive issues and strengths. The artstyle is just like in Sunrider, very easy on the eye and simple to like, all the characters have unique flare, that being said, some of the cgs imo are not up to snuff, specifically the cave by the water. Overall tho, I had so much fun in the routes I played so far and I cant wait to go read more, even if on first sight the characters interest me less, I know that with LiS style of writing everything can turn out wildly differently than what I thought. And even if this game has its dark moments, its good to know that if you do your job as the producer right and help out all the girls, it will turn out alright in the end.
