Playing this game felt special. The game itself is rather simple in terms of mechanics, but this is also not the point of the game. Instead, it manages to drag you into its beautiful under water world, and since there are no fancy distractions, you will also get to know the main charater very well. You learn about his loss and his struggles and the game really takes its time to make him relatable. If you are looking for a deep and emotional experience, this game could be for you. But a warning is also fair: the game is about the loss of a child and manages to make you really feel close to the protagonist.

A beatiful game, and I don't only mean the graphics. It's somehow very "reduced", the gameplay is simple, there is not too much interaction with the world... but still it manages to grab you. The atmosphere is great, the characters are interesting, and it stayed interesting until the end. Great voice acting, too. Took me around 8 hours to finish. Fully enjoyed it. :)

Didn't hear much good about this one. But: The Setting is amazing (60ies New Orleans inspired city), soundtrack is as good as you would expect it for a 60ies setting, and the action is also really good. Lastly, the story is interesting and the main character's motivation, while not original (it's mainly revenge), it works nicely! Game is much better than its reputation.

Liked the story. But the shooting is a bit dull. It always turns into mass shootings, so it looses its impact. A pity, since the rest of the game is quite grounded.

This game might not be the greatest game ever made. You notice they never had this ambition. But it captures the atmosphere of the movies really well, and the looks of the game are sometimes nothing but great. Unfortunately, robocop has basically 0 mobility, making the combat it bit.. stationary. The roleplay part is also not very deep, and neither is the detective work..

I was a big fan of 1999's Jagged Alliance 2 and was really looking forward to part 3. I had to wait almost 25 years, but it was worth it. JA3 recreates the old feel, but without feeling outdated. The mercenaries are the highlights of the game - they have very distinct personalities and interact with each other. I wish there were more of them, though :) The tactical combat is also really good, although I'd say XCom2 does it a bit better, but also has a different focus. It certainly is better than what JA2 offered. Weakest part for me was the strategic map. The movement of the enemies on the campaign map jsut doesn't make much sense. But maybe that isn't so critical. It's dynamic enough most of the time so that it doesn't get too boring between fights. All in all, maybe not a perfect game by itself, but for me it scretched an itch which I had for a long time and I really love this game. :)
