The controls in Silence make for a horrible gameplay experience. The cursor "coasts" with each movement and is impossible to move accurately or consistently in any direction. This makes what could be a fun point and click into a nightmare of just trying to control the cursor. Furthermore, since several internal mini "games" (I use that term loosely, as they involve zero elements of fun) require minute control of the cursor to balance the characters on unstable surfaces, it is maddeningly futile and ruins the flow of the story and any ability of players to lose themselves in that story. This is extremely disappointing from a quality gamemaker like Daedalic. I would not waste your money or time on this, and if I could return this game I would do it in a second.
