The Outer Worlds

A decent game

It's really hard to find a good game to play in this time and age. Outer worlds it's a game good enough to make you finish it. Now before I start saying about the game I want to make something clear. I don't believe that there is any way to create an rpg as a video game. Rpg's are meant to be pen and paper and nobody can change that. That means that when I am saying that a game is not an rpg, that applies to 99.99% games in the market. So, is outer worlds an rpg? No. It has the classic rpg elements, you gain level, now you are stronger. If you approach the game with high expectations, of the best rpg ever made, that every choice matters, that you have handreds and handreds of skils etc etc. Then find and play an old rpg or roguelike. This game is just another fps. It has some nice ideas, and it was created from a small studio, in my opinion they did a pretty good job. The characters are well written, the combat is fluid and satisfying and the exploration is compact. You don't have a vast big overworlds map to explore BUT this is actually good. Games like fallout have a huge map, and nothing to find in it. At least outer worlds is more compact and doesn't make the exploration tedius like most open world games. The games is not that long, but that makes it easier to replay the game with other characters and do things differently. You can choose to help different people and slightly change the story. Bottomline. Yeah the games doesn't worth the price tag, but you can easily find it on sale. If you are looking for the perfect game, then guess what, there are no perfect games. People don't respect the work game developers put to make a game, and it's not as simple as you think.

Warlords Battlecry 3

All reviews about bugs are nonsense

I don't know what the hell people say about bugs or crashes or that it is an unplayable mess or something about DRM nonsense, but this is 100% bullshit. The game works fine and I never had any problem with this gog release. Before I start let me say that I found this game here on gog on 2014, so this review is not nostalgia. Now if you are one of those people that you want a 2004 game to look like a 2019 game, then yeah, don't touch this game. Now about the GAME itself and not unrelated shit. The game is really nice, it is a RTS with rpg elements. You have a hero which you can level up pretty easily and equip items on him. This hero is like your profile, your level and equipment are saved with him as well your favorite units that survived the battle Yes, your units can level up and if they survive then a name is generated for them and you can save them for future battles, I personally have 2 Reavers since quest 1 until now. The campaign is really well made, you can explore the map with your army and choose your fights. The fights are really satisfying, I really like crushing the parties with my reavers and dragons. The units are really creative, there is much content, races units and so on. The only reason I don't give this game 5 stars is the difficulty. I find this game too easy for my tastes. Right now my hero can destroy a whole map of titans with no sweat. So if you have some friends to play lan together I think is would be much more fun

Sacred Gold

One of the best arpgs if not the best.

Before I start let me say, this is a nostalgia free review since I just started playing the game. I have played many games of this genre and all suffer from the same mistakes. Uninteresting map design boring story, boring characters, boring loot, boring class system, boring leveling system etc etc etc etc.. sacred has non of those things. Secred is not like any other. Its open world, I am not just hunting quests for exp. I want to explore the world and read the side quests, the reasons I am hunting something and enjoy the lore the creators made. The graphics are just amazing and will never get old. The scenery is stunning, it makes me feel peaceful I don't know why. My favorite thing here is grinding. I love slaying anything in my way, you don't need to grind because this game is designed perfectly so you go to point a to point b and you have already the strength to beat the following quest, but I just like doing side quest while exploring and grind runes for my characters. The overall gameplay is just different than anything else, the way you enchant and level up your special moves or whatever their are called. Its not just level up> level up skills> repeat. It is a cycle yes, but a different and interesting one. You must play this game at least once, it deserves it

Kenshi

Normally its a 5 star game

The current price for what you get is just don't worth it. The game is not well optimized yet, and before I say anything about the graphics let me inform you that I play dwarf fortress and I lose the none existent graphics, BUT kenshi has just ugly graphics, its just not ready yet. The gameplay is the only reason for you to buy the game. There aren't any games like this anywhere. You start from nothing, there are some scenarios that may be a little easier but whatever you do, the game is unforgiving. When you have a clan and start to be able to battle others and win it feels really good, slowly researching and run away from battles and try to loot dead bodies and really slowly build your army, yes this games is really good, it is just not finished, so not end game or a goal. BUT! the price is just.... not right. At least the developer still wants to finish the game and by buying the game at the current price you helping him even more. So if you don't care about the price and the graphics, this game is something new and has many things that deserve your attention.
