I finally added this lovely game to my collection, after the prequel, X-Blades finally arrived to GOG! The game itself is a great story-based hack'n slash. With the time rewind skill, you can make a whole army from yourself! The Limited Edition not only contains the DLC, Artbook, and Soundtrack, but the Sky Islands map for the Outbreak mode and an Exclusive Skyguardian Weapon! I only miss the Wallpapers from the GOG version at this time. Recommended!
This is the 4th time I buying this game! (I own the standard retail version, the retail Royal Bundle, a digital copy on Steam, and now the HD Gold Edition here on GOG.) I just love X-Blades! The gameplay is full of action, the music is good, the graphic is beautiful (and now even better with this version) and the heroine is cute! The Gold edition comes with all the goodies! Recommended!
I decided, after 25 years of collecting games, that this will be my very last PC game I ever buy! Now, lets see... The game is good, half RPG, half RTS. Graphic is great and colorful, music is epic, the narrator's voice is like a God... It's truly gave me the Dungeons and Dragons feel with a twist! Works great on Windows 10. And GOG is the only digital store at this time where you can get Dungeons and Dragons: Dragonshard! If you like Dungeons and Dragons, this game is for you! I am more than happy with my purchase, thank you GOG!
I wanted to play this as a kid, but I haven't a good computer back in 2004, which can run it. So 18 years later I just bought on GOG! (Only the GOG version is playable, all other versions have a game breaking bug!) What should I say? It's so good! The game is beautiful (especially in 1920x1080), the music is well made, the gameplay is challenging! You play as a good dragon, helping for the humans in hard times, when hellish creatures swarming the lands. You can choose from 3 different dragons: then explore the realm, defeat monsters and lairs, collect crystals from lairs, upgrade your dragon, learn spells, build towns, upgrade and protect towns... often go back to previously conquered lands to protect the besieged towns! Let's say, The I of the Dragon is an Action game-RTS hybrid. The controls are hard to learn, but worth it! Plus, you can change the game speed, from 0% to 200%! You can play the game in your own tempo. I am happy with this game, give it a try!
I don't know why is this game so unpopular! It's a masterpiece! The music, the visuals, the puzzles are top-notch! Even the story is interesting, while I explore this retro-futuristic world! And I haven't even said the character progression, boss fights, collectibles and secrets! And the game is very well optimised! Gamepad recommended! I love this game!
If you are looking the most stable and most complete version of Morrowind, you found it! You get the main game, Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions, 8 official plugins, and an Official Strategy guide (415 pages)! Only GOG bundles the official plugins with the GotY Edition! (Official plugins released by Bethesda exclusively for the PC version of Morrowind.) They are turned off by default on the GOG version and must be toggled on in the launcher's Data Files menu. The 8 plugins are: -Helm of Tohan -Entertainers -Bitter Coast Sounds -Area Effect Arrows -Master Index -LeFemm Armor -Adamantium Armor -Siege at Firemoth With a single registry change, you can play the game in widescreen! I tested, it will not stretched at all! Here are the steps: 1. Install and launch Morrowind at least once, set all settings to desired levels 2. Open Regedit 3. Find this Entry in the registry: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW64 32Node\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind 4. Find "Screen Height" and "Screen Width" 5. Change the circle-tick from "Hexadecimal" to "Decimal" for both the Screen Width and Height Set Height Decimal to 768 Set Width Decimal to 1366 6.Don't modify any game settings after that otherwise you will have to repeat the process. In your video card's control panel you can turn Antialiasing and Vsync on! And it's done! The Complete Morrowind experience in Widescreen! I can't ask for more, thanks, GOG!
So it is finally here on GOG! Yes, it is like Diablo 1 in space! But very difficult, because you can collect cells from aliens, and these cells are your ammunition and also your money! And simply not enough both for ammo and for health packs! The GOG version (as well as Steam version) will not show you the Intro and Outro, unless you set the game's .exe file (main.exe) to Windows XP Service Pack 3 Compatible!
