This is a pretty good sequel. Still has the horror parts of the game but in my opinion relied more on the shooter aspect for this installment. The story was still pretty good in this game with some jump scares in between action. Also, being able to control one of those mech suits was a lot of fun. Sound effects and voice acting are fine. Graphics are still good for an older game. Gameplay is fun and has a moderate replay value, the game also has a Reborn DLC with it. I played this game on Steam so I could use my Xbox One controller to play the game. Wish GOG would have something similar for controller support. I played this using Windows 10 64 Bit and had zero problems loading or playing this game. Would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a good shooter with some scare to it. Rate it 4/5
I got this game on sale, so it was well worth the money. The game itself is fun and even offers a little bit of story. Basically the same idea with every mission, get rid of the dead bodies, clean up the blood, pick up the left over evidence. So, the game is kind of like a puzzle with a bit of timing involved. I enjoyed most of this game, it did get a little tedious in some spots, but I still had a pretty good time with this game. Only complaints really, the ending sucked and the game was over in a few hours. Controls are easy to get used to. I would recommend this game. I rate this game 4/5

The first of the infamous Larry games. I had to give it a try. The graphics are beyond dated at this point, so I’m not even going to judge it by that. Basically, this game is one of the original type of games where you have to actually type in the comment section of the game what you want to see happen, for example, you would type “Eat apple”, to see someone eat an apple. This game may not be for everyone at this point in time, but for an old school gamer such as myself, I had to give it a try. It is still the typical Leisure Suit Larry antics offered by any of the games I had played in my Original Xbox years. Would I recommend this game to a friend? No, most likely not. Could I have a conversation about this game in this series? Most definitely! I'll give it a solid 1/5, for the story in this dated game. Would I recommend it: No. What do I rate it: 1/5 Here's a guide I used to help navigate through this ancient game. Good Luck! http://gamerwalkthroughs.com/leisure-suit-larry-1/
So, Postal 2 is a fairly easy FPS (First Person Shooter) game. The objectives are simple, and always have a fight after completing the objective. It’s more of an adult themed shooter, with corny writing (think Duke Nukem), with some not so good voice acting. I will admit it’s hard for me to put down once I start playing, as I do find it very entertaining. I had to fumble around in the options menu to get the Xbox controller to work. I had to switch the option to Xbox One Controller and check the Xinput box for the controller to start working. Even after that, I had to fine tune some bindings because it still felt clunky while playing with the controller. I got this game for free so, I can’t complain about the price. The graphics are nothing special, but they’re not terrible. The game sound is nothing spectacular either. I give this game a 3/5. I would recommend this game to anyone looking to kill some time and to someone who likes FPS
What can I say, this game was and still is freaking awesome! Eerie jump scares check, good combat check, great AI check, gore check, scary little girl with long hair check. The sound is pretty good, sets the mood for the scary stuff and the guns and explosions sound pretty good too. I used my Xbox controller for this one and it worked out just fine. Thanks to my Windows 10, I had some issues with the FPS (Frames Per Second) dropping (lag) after about 30 minutes of play and the only way I could figure out a work around was saving the game quick, exiting the game to dashboard, and then restarting the game. This would only work for another 30-45 min before the FPS would drop again. So, I went on the hunt for a fix and this is what I have found. Use this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCvdk4NNWIc video from YouTube and this guys file fix for it https://steamcommunity.com/app/21090/discussions/0/343785380897389173 and it should take care of the problem, otherwise you’ll be exiting the game every 30min or so just to restart the game and have the 60 FPS drop again. I added this file to the game folder and didn’t have a single problem with the frames dropping ever again. Also, I was using the Platinum Edition of the game. Would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a good shooter with some scare to it. Rate it 5/5
Army Men RTS. It’s an RTS (Real Time Strategy), little green army men …. and woman, and of course various army vehicles, what else could you ask for? Actually, it leaves me asking for a little bit more. I’m used to other bigger RTS titles with more upgrades for your bases, and other functions for your units. However, this title is about little green army men, so I wasn’t expecting some mind-blowing experience. The game’s sound is good, the controls are easy to use, the graphics are pretty good for an army men game, and the game runs super smooth on my Windows 10 gaming PC. The gameplay, as I said earlier has some upgrades you can do to your base, which keeps it a little interesting while your playing. Unless you have to kill everything on the map before finishing, like myself, you can run through most of the levels with ease. The game does provide a moderate amount of enjoyment, as each level gives you a couple goals to try and achieve before you deliver the final blow or reach the final objective for each level. If you’re an RTS fan, don’t mind the lack of upgradeable objects in your bases, and just want to sit down and burn some time turning the tan army into puddles of bubbling plastic; then I would recommend giving this game a try. I give it a 4/5, 1 for the graphics and smooth running on my PC, 1 for the ease of control, and 1 for it being an RTS, and 1 for the simple relaxing gameplay
I’m a fairly big Star Wars fan. I am a really big RTS (Real Time Strategy) game fan. So, when you combine the two things together, I was super stoked to give it a try. This game is a bit old, so I wasn’t expecting the graphics to be phenomenal or anything, but I do expect the game to run smooth. I am currently using Windows 10, and from what I have gathered there is a lot of lag when you play this game. I first started playing the Galactic Conquest part of the game, to only find out after a certain unit count your game will being to lag to a point where you can’t even play the game. It doesn’t matter if you turn the detail down or adjust the settings, its going to lag bad. I searched all over the internet looking for some kind of fix or patch that could optimize the game with no success. Everyone says while playing in that game mode its just going to be laggy. So, I went and started a campaign game. It’s basically the same thing as the Galactic Conquest mode, it just doesn’t lag as bad. I was able to at least play a few missions with minimal lag. Upon trying to quit the game, the game will freeze and crash. In the end I decided to uninstall the game due to these issues. I gave it a 2/5 stars, because its Star Wars and if you don’t mind a bit a lag you can slowly drag your way through a campaign game.
So, I first played this game on the original Xbox back in the day, so when I saw this game up for grabs, I had to give it another try. This game still has decent graphics for its age, the controls are decent (pretty much a point and click adventure), and the story is still a very intriguing and suspenseful one. I would highly recommend it to anyone that would like to tap into their inner detective, who likes some puzzle solving, and adventuring around, all while trying to stop a deranged serial killer. This game worked flawlessly on my Windows 10 Gaming PC. If you end up getting stuck, there’s a good guide out there you can use, you can find it here http://www.gameboomers.com/wtcheats/pcSs/stilllife.htm I give it a 4/5 because of the ending… No spoilers here. Still a great game!
