Still learning all the details, but love this game. Hard to watch when units get into melee and stop taking orders until melee ends. Sometimes they chase routing enemies and your whole plan collapses. I have to make changes to the plan on the fly to keep up.
Never played this back in the day. I like it despite the dated graphics. It really seems to reward concentration of fire, careful observation of terrain, and keeping units in command. If graphics were updated I'd give it a five. I've only got 12 hours at this point, I'll revisit my review when I've played more.
Fun. Enemy swarms like nothing else. Like it.
So far I'm liking it a lot. I've died once, but I'm on my second attempt. Can get frantic at times. I like the episodic nature which allows me to grind away at a level until I overcome it.
I have enjoyed my time so far. It is quite difficult but rewards skill. I keep trying again even when I'm frustrated
