People really need to add what operating system they're using to the review !!!!!!!!!!!! I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5 , 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 ,Intel Iris 1536 MB , OSSierra 10.12 I don't know what operating system these 5 star reviewers are using but I'll tell you that if your system is the same as mine this game was very choppy and unresponsive . I really like the game but my computer didn't .
Ok , here we go , Find very few people add their OS so I am going to Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 / Macbook pro retina 2014 To start with this game is very fun and addicting , also has a lot of replayability !!! On the flip side it has some GUI issues with the buttons which can sometimes be resolved by restarting the game until the issue stops ( when this happens the characters won't exit the vehicle when they arrive or your buddy walks to the corner and stays there ). When the game is working well it's a lot of fun but with all the grind you never make it very far ( Hey the zombie's are there to kill you so what do I expect LOL ) . This game needs some patches and more gameplay options for changing the difficulty I am at retirement age so options for difficulty would be nice because just once I would like to make it to Canada .

Ok , the full exp. pack costs $ 24.99 . I paid $ 19.99 for the base game and you want me to pay $ 7.49 . Uh let me see here , a moment for clarity . Oh yeah now I got it ; You wold like me to pay $ 27.48 to expand the base game . Or would I just go ahead and buy the full expansion pack instead and just throw $ 19.99 right out the window . Hey it's only $ 2.49 but I have bought some very cool games on GOG for that. Long story short I was thinking bout expanding but after this I feel insulted , This is kindergarten addition here come on give me a break
In my opinion this game could be a 5 star game but there just is way too much " Grind ". I played on the " easy " or casual setting and it was just as the commenter say's " More ashes , Dust , and disappointment "
I have seen that there have been updates on steam for this game but I am not seeing any updates or text denoting patches . Am looking for forward movement on the development but don't see anything . The game looks interesting but I don't see any progress like I see on steam .
I like that you can completely customize the world , creatures and such . This is a very cool survival game with a lot of replayability .
