Definitely a must buy. It even supports 240p resolution so you can run it on your CRT TV, which I highly recommend doing. Devs put some real effort into this one and it shows.
The game does not save your level progress. Or, at least it doesn't save mine. I've Googled periodically for perhaps a year now, no luck on figuring this out. Nobody out there is talking about it, so I think this could be user error somehow. Still not leaving what ought to be 5 stars because saving level progress, level selecting completed levels, and level selecting the first uncompleted level, should be obvious; not a puzzle. I don't have time for this nonsense. Using latest version at time of this writing, 2.0.3. Uninstalling this because I am not playing level one for the 100th time to see if I can figure out if it's really user error or developer error. It's developer error if it's this difficult to figure out, it's developer error if it isn't possible.
5 star game... until you get to the minecart level (reminiscent of SNES/DKC1). What's the problem? Well, the controls are a bit broken at this stage. Please allow me to explain: Parts of this minecart level require a duck then a jump. The problem is that you cannot jump for about one second after ducking. It just doesn't work, you're blocked. This just doesn't make any sense to me. Not sure if this was intended to be a game mechanic, or a mistake. If this was intentional... why do they hate us? If mistake... I hope they fix it soon! Running on a Windows machine, using a standard XBOX360 USB controller. BTW I did manage to get through it, but at what cost...? My sanity. I'm a bit more insane now having gone through this than before this encounter with minecart level with bad controls.
