I was excited to find a living dead turn based game, but the battles are clunky and not intuitive. Your team members get in the way all the time, and the zombies come out of the woodwork at the first gun shot. Beyond that I just didn't see the need to spend 10 minutes every "day" walking around the school to try to talk to people. One more thing, you ask the survivors what they want, and when you find the items, I couldn't figure out a way to give it to them. One other thing, the inventory is a drag, and you have to "drop" items if you want to give to another player. Overall very disappointing, should have saved the $30 for one of the other turn-based games on gog.com.
For those who have not gotten their hands on a great turn-based strategy game, surely worth the money! After Fallout Tactics, I have been jonesing for a strong turn based strategy game. Good character development - through karma points. Cool list of weapons and skills for a group of players. Took me about a week of steady playing to finish the campaign, and it was a blast! There is more content available, but you have to sign on to another site and pay a fee for some user developed campaigns. The site is in English pounds, so I am not sure if I am going that route, but I probably will at sometime. Two thumbs up to Harebrained for building a wonderful role playing steam-punk strategy game. I look forward to future projects!
