If you are not in the mood for meaty RPG, this is little adventure game (not much RPG to be seen honestly) that may fill the void. It's just lighthearted, whinsical adventure with funny or less funny jokes. Don't expect much more than this though.
MDK is one of those game you will never forget. Very interesting sense of humor, very interesting artistic design along with funny backstory (reading manual is definitely worth it!). It's lighthearted third person shooter, combined with platforming and puzzle solving. Good thing it's more fun than frustrating (good for person that is not good at this like me anyway). Art, level design, sound, one of the best I know. The only thing I experienced were some graphical glitches, but game was still playable no problem.
I played this game loooong time ago. I remember having very hard time solving puzzles (even though in the end it all made perfect sense... no nonsense puzzles). I remember having a blast after solving each hard puzzle, because hard gameplay gave me fine piece of satisfaction when solved. In the end I got so involved with the game and so immersed in the world, that ending really made me cry :) As a bottom line, I bought this game here and played it again. It was wonderful experience after all those years. I roughly remembered all the puzzles, so I didn't get frustrated at all and just enjoyed the play.
