+ Es sind im Grunde Kampagnen für Heroes of Might and Magic III + Der Schwierigkeitsgrad lässt sich für jedes Level einstellen, also auch was für Leute denen Heroes3 zu schwer wurde. + Nette Geschichte + Paar nette Renderszenen - Keine Szenarien Preisleistung ist mehr als gegeben.
As written, the Game has too much Teenie Crying Stuff and broken Quick Time Events. I am absolutly no Fan of this Game. Rather play Anniversary, Legend and Underworld!
Came out of nowhere here for me on Gog. So, i am Imperator of a Nation, i became it by winning a Tournament. I, the Megalord, am listening to the Needs of my People in the Throne Room, hiring Soldiers and Knights to defend my Lands, building new Building in my Capital and discovering new Places in my free Time. I can not understand how such Rebels came to be, they want a Leader choosen by Vote. How insane is this? But i crushed them with my Army and the Help of Mercenaries, ah and don't forget the Goblins i paid. When i am bored, i let my Steward handle the Plebs. But beware, sometimes the Plebs have some good Information, i killed a Demony Spy because of them. And seeing Kids smile because of the Coins i give them and Criminals cry because i send them to Jail (or let them Kill) is such a Joy. I conquered the black Market, destroyed a Slave Fortress and got drunk at a Party. I watched Battles in Pits, saw a giant Ship and bet on a Snail Race. Now i am heading South to discover the Truth about the Demons.
Somehow, this Game is brutally boring. I've spend the last Months playing all kind of RPGs, first Time Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Icewind Dale and also returned to Neverwinter Nights. So i wanted to give this Game a try, after i haven't got really warm with it a couple of Years ago. But hell, it is so boring, the Atmosphere, the Characters, the Music, it all depresses you and it is not trying to catch you up. The graphics are nice, i guess, it is everything so grey. It doesn't create a Feel of Danger or a World destroyed as in Fallout, it just gives you the Impression of a boring grey World. I am now trying to play a bit more (without Music).
The beginning of the Story it felt pretty intriguing, but after playing a while it was somehow very boring. Also the choice of Companions was not the greatest, Dialog Options lead into the same Answers and Outcomes, there was also no feeling about exploring a World, all together, it hasn't kept me playing through it. Skipped to BG2 and it was much more enjoyable.
Metal Gear Solid am PC ist durchaus eine echt gute Version, von Gog dann auch noch out of the Box. Einzig die schlechte deutsce Synchro wäre noch ein Bonus. Auflösung ist natürlich höher als bei der Playstation Version, Texture Warping gibt es technologiebedingt zum Glück ebenfalls nicht. Einzig die Spielerei mit Psycho Mantis fällt natürlich weg. Die VR-Missionen waren und sind in der PC-Version ebenfalls integriert, das Gepuzzel wie man diese am besten schafft macht hier durchaus auch Spaß. Die Ninja Missionen und Fotosessions mit Mei Ling und Naomi sind bereits komplett frei zugänglich am PC. Nebenbei, durch einen Doppelklick auf "Dreieck" wechselt man in einen dauerhaften Egomodus. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, da das Handbuch als Beigabe noch recht geil wäre, da hier auch recht schöne Artworks enthalen sind. (Habe die originale PC-Version zuhause auf deutsch). Das Mischen der Daten zwischen Gog und ladenversion funktioniert so lala. Zwischensequenzen sind bei mir englisch, Codecunterhaltungen auf deutsch, brechen aber oft ab. Bleibt also eher bei der englishen von Gog (die sich eh besser anhört) oder wartet bis es ei Update gibtl. Die Speicherstände sind übertragbar zwischen den Versionen.
It is really sad that the bad Console Ports overshadowed this Game, because it is just a Master Piece of Work. Visually, the Animations and especially the Sound Department is brtually good. I can only compare it to how i feel when being in the Crowd in big Techno Festivals or bigger Tourist Places. I had no Idea my PC can handle such a Visual Piece, even if it is a bit over the Maximum Specs. The Gameplay is Fun and i like it more than in Witcher 3. You can see its Route, but it feels much more natural to search for Side Quests. Haven't encountered any big Bug, a Subtitle was frozen when i reloaded a Quick Save, but thats all. Love the Game, should have bought it earlier (had no Time :)) I can only recommend it, it is a superlative Experience.
Das Spiel kann man am besten beschreiben als eine Mischung aus Heroes of Might and Magic mit starken Rollenspielelementen und Warcraft 3. Die Kämpfe sind wie in Heroes of Might and Magic während man in Echtzeit auf der Oberwelt in RPG-Manier herumläuft, dies erinnerte mich hier stark an die Kampagne mit Rexxar. Dabei nimmt man Quests an und erforscht die Umgebung, muss seine Feinde ziemlich stark abschätzen und auf seine Ressourcen achten. Ich kann auch nur empfehlen im Forum nach dem Thread zu schauen in welchem man die Schriftart vergrößern kann.
