The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos

Waited so long; disappointed so quickly

I remember this game being announced...I was reluctant to place it on my wish list and wait for a sale. That sale arrived, I purchased the game, and in a bit over an hour find myself repulsed with the language of the game. Perhaps I'm too much the old fart, but find no reason for fantasy creatures to be blithely cussing through the (brief) encounter. A refund requested...and I am yet again hesitant to but games that offer so little information about themselves to the prospective buyer.

Gamedec - Definitive Edition

Not for me

I tried the free demo--thank you for publishing and releasing this to the public--but the puzzle in the South Alley was beyond my frustration level. Wouldn't play even if it were free. Graphics ran well. Did not encounter reviewer whakka's issue...if I had, this would have been a no for me as well.

350 hours and still playing!

Addicting! Time Consuming! Frustrating! A GRAND DELIGHT! I like games that are a challenge...admit I was frustrated at not being able to readily find game cheats but it made me play smarter. Yes, I saved--a lot! I almost quit--a lot! But I keep coming back, keep playing, keep finding new areas to explore (I still haven't figured out how to finish the Foundry quest!) The 'Expedition' game is on my wish list...but I have to figure out how to survive in the Deep Caverns. I've died so many times, so quickly, that I went back and started a new character...and found new areas where there were none before. This game will remain on my playable list for a very, very long time.

ATOM RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game

Worthy to stand alone on its own merits

While this game may have been created in the spirit of Fallout and Wasteland (I own both), it clearly stands along on its own merit. I bought the game after it was released and it sat in my queue for over two years. Recently, I finally started playing and greatly enjoy the loss of many, many hours as I immerse myself in the detailed gameplay and story. Having lived in Ukraine, it's eerie to see the Soviet equipment, attitudes, mindset that present so well and with such accuracy. Rusted weapons? Absolutely! Bread? Fish? Rodent? All too realistic...I'm only missing the borscht soup! I eagerly enjoy the family going to bed to allow me uninterrupted hours of gameplay! I will purchase Trudograd but only after it comes out of Development. This was an easy purchase and even easier recommendation to anyone who enjoyed Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Wasteland...this will remain in my play queue for many, many months.
