Ixion is one of my favourite games ever but it can be somewhat hard to tackle at first, actually bounced off it two times, it wasn't until my third try that it truly hooked me and then I couldn't get get enough. The narrative is deep and extremely good, the gameplay loop is tight and unique, the soundtrack is top notch. It is not without its flaws but I strongly encourage anybody to give this one a try or maybe three.
This game is very challenging but also very rewarding, I lose myself for hours into it, every step forward feels so smooth and well earned; it took me several failed attempts fo finally get going but it was totaly worth it.
Gord is an amazing game, it has an engaging story, great setting, very good voice acting and a superb soundtrack. I've seen some negative reviews because it seems to be a misunderstood game, it's been mostly compared to Rimworld and the fact that Gord lacks some of the features found there but I belive it's been an unfair comparison since Gord never set itself up as a Rimworld clone, it's its own thing and I think it blends the RTS, survival, colony management and RPG elements very well.
