A true work of art that is very forthright with its environmental themes while impressively reserving storytelling through the world you explore and the survival-oriented gameplay. The suite of mechanics on offer are simple, but go a long way in immersing you in the setting and act as an extension of your character's instinct to protect her cubs, something further illustrated in the animation. Presentation as a whole is impeccable, from the phenomenal art style to the masterful soundtrack, which becomes engrained in your mind as you progress. The one potential caveat is the short length, with my playthrough lasting 4 hours, which combined with the price may understandably leave some hesitant. For me personally, every second of Endling struck a chord, it is sure to have a lasting impression and go down as one of the most emotionally powerful gaming experiences I have ever had. Highly recommended.
Just as amazing as the trailers promised! The dual-wielding mechanic is very intuitive and combined with the bullet time is a lot of fun to execute. The levels are of a short but sweet duration and there is plenty of them, with enough replay value in the scoring system to keep you coming back. And it's just pure fun to play through. I highly recommend picking up this game as soon as you can!
